Computer Recycling / Donation InformationComputer/Printer DonationMyers Network Solutions can help you discard surplus or used desktop computers, laptop computers, or printers that are less than four years old and no longer meet your company’s needs. We can help place your old equipment with well-deserving individuals or non-profit organizations. Encouraging corporate responsibility, we’re pleased to maintain an informal list of deserving individuals and charity groups that are in need of donated equipment. In most cases, this also provides a much-needed tax deduction. (Please consult with your accountant or tax preparer for more details.) While we do accept flat-panel donations, we unfortunately cannot accept CRT monitors. Please contact us if you have used computers or printers to arrange a convenient time for pick-up or delivery. Computer Equipment Disposal How would you dispose of your old computer? Throw it in your regular trash, take it to a hazardous waste center or send it back to the company you bought it from? And what about cell phones? And printers? If you're like millions of California residents, you're probably at a loss. New California state waste-disposal rules that began on February 9, 2006, made it illegal for consumers to throw electronics of just about any kind into the trash, from cell phones, computers, printers and monitors to even batteries and fluorescent bulbs.
